CyberSecurity: It’s a Tools Problem, Isn’t It?

Businesses today face an increasingly tough and complex challenge: how to deal with Cyber Risk and avoid being the next cautionary Ransomware tale. The common misconception is that to end Cyber Risk means to add the latest and greatest 'killer' tool or hardware from IT Security Vendors. Whilst those providers offer powerful solutions when it comes to dealing with particular aspects of CyberSecurity, this industry has great tools in abundance already - CyberSecurity doesn't have a tools problem, it has an effectiveness problem. ........

Cyber Incident Plan

Your Cyber Incident Plan, how does it stack up?

Most people when asked say they'd love to cyber exercise more but don't know how. The problem with major incident response plans is that they are largely untested. The SOC and IR team may work together to test some aspects but for most organisations, the inherited critical incident plans are largely untested and, more importantly, so are the people.
